The HKS SSQV Recirculation Fitting (71002-AK003) allows you to convert your HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve from an atmospheric vent to a recirculating setup. By replacing the standard triple-fin discharge insert, this fitting enables metered air to be routed back into the intake tract before the turbocharger inlet.
This is a critical component for vehicles equipped with a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. In these systems, venting air to the atmosphere that has already been measured by the ECU can lead to rich-running conditions, stumbling, or stalling between shifts. This fitting ensures the intake charge remains within the system for smoother drivability and better engine response.
