The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 suspension system (MPN: K53171) is a complete bolt-on upgrade designed to improve the ride quality and off-road capability of the Lexus GX470 platform. This system features vehicle-specific tuned 2.5-inch front coilovers and 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks, providing a balanced feel across various terrains. Specifically engineered for the GX470, this kit includes a rear coil spring conversion kit to replace the often-problematic factory rear air bag system with reliable ICON-engineered coil springs.
The front coilovers are height-adjustable from 0-3.5 inches of lift, allowing for increased ground clearance and the fitment of larger wheel and tire combinations. Construction features include CAD-plated shock bodies, 6061 CNC-machined aluminum components, and FK Rod End bearings for maximum durability and minimal deflection. The rear 2.0 Aluminum Series internal floating piston (IFP) shocks are paired with 2-inch lift rear springs to ensure consistent damping performance and a level stance.
