Fits 2006-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, SE, and Spyder models (2.4L) equipped with a manual transmission.
The Injen SP Series cold air intake is engineered to optimize engine respiration using patented MegaRam (MR) Technology. This system features a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum intake tube designed for high-efficiency airflow and a precise air-fuel (A/F) ratio. By placing the filter in a cooler air stream outside the engine bay, this SP1870P kit delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 14 hp and 12 lb-ft of torque.
The kit includes a SuperNano-Web dry air filter (X-1014-BB), which provides superior filtration and surface area without requiring oil. This intake is CARB exempt under EO #D-476-8, making it street-legal in many jurisdictions. The system provides an aggressive, throaty engine tone under full throttle while maintaining safe operating parameters without additional tuning.
