The Injen SP Series short ram intake system (SP3075BLK) is engineered to optimize airflow for the VW MK6 GTI. Constructed from mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum, this system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a smooth-bore intake tube and a custom-designed heat shield with cover. The system utilizes Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) and Air Fusion technologies to tune the intake tract, ensuring maximum power gains while maintaining safe air-fuel ratios across the power band.
- Dyno-proven gains of up to 7 hp and 6 lb-ft of torque
- Mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum intake tubing with a durable black finish
- Includes a fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter (Part # X-1049-BB)
- Custom-designed heat shield provides a barrier against engine bay heat soak
- CARB EO # D-476-8 (Applies to 2010-2011 model years only; excludes SULEV test groups AADXV02.03PA, BADXV02.03PA, and CADXV02.03PA)
- Maintains safe Air/Fuel ratios without the need for additional tuning
- Aggressive engine tone under full throttle conditions
