The Injen Evolution series (EVO2202C) is a high-performance, sealed air intake system designed for the Toyota 4.0L V6 engine. Constructed from durable cross-linked polyethylene, the one-piece roto-molded housing is engineered to reduce intake temperatures and improve airflow. The system features the Injen Twist-Lock mounting method, which eliminates unnecessary hardware for a simplified installation while securely seating a massive 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter.

This system includes an integrated ram air scoop to capture fresh, cool air from the front of the vehicle. For off-road or wet conditions, a removable urethane plug is provided to seal the scoop and protect the engine from debris and water ingestion. The intake tube is dyno-tuned to optimize the air-fuel ratio past the MAF sensor, delivering consistent power gains of up to 13 hp and 15 lb-ft of torque without requiring an aftermarket ECU tune.
