The Injen SP Series Short Ram Intake (MPN: SP3028P) delivers improved airflow and performance for select 2010-2012 Volkswagen Golf and Jetta models equipped with the 2.5L 5-cylinder engine and electronic power steering. Engineered as Injen's flagship aluminum intake system, it provides a smooth, uninterrupted path for highly efficient airflow to your engine.
This intake system features Injen Technology's patented tuning processes, including MegaRam (MR) Technology (U.S. Patents 7,359,795 and 7,669,571) and Air Fusion (U.S. Patents 7,757,548 and 7,721,699). It is designed to provide significant power increases while maintaining safe Air/Fuel (A/F) ratios throughout the power band, eliminating the need for additional tuning.
The SP Series intake includes a custom heat shield with a cover, specifically designed for this application to isolate the air filter from engine bay heat. Its fully serviceable Injen SuperNano-Web dry air filter offers increased surface area for greater airflow and superior filtration. Beyond performance, this intake provides an aggressive, throaty engine tone under full throttle, enhancing the driving experience.
