The factory 1.5L Turbo charge air system is prone to heat soak under spirited driving or track conditions. The Injen FM1573I intercooler addresses this by replacing the restrictive stock tube-and-fin unit with a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core. This direct-fit upgrade provides a 25% increase in core volume, resulting in intake temperature drops of up to 24°F and dyno-proven gains of 16 HP and 19 lb-ft of torque.

Engineered for seamless integration, this intercooler features cast end tanks and precision CNC-machined aluminum flanges that mate perfectly with factory piping. The 100% bolt-on design requires no custom tuning or vehicle modification, allowing for a straightforward installation that typically takes about one hour.
