The Injen Evolution series EVO7104C is a fully sealed cold air intake system engineered to optimize airflow and increase power for GM's 5.3L V8 engine. This system features a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) roto-molded housing and intake tube, providing superior heat soak resistance and durability compared to standard plastic kits. The housing includes Injen's signature Clear-View window with a red-stripe accent, allowing for quick visual inspection of the air filter without disassembly.

At the heart of the EVO7104C is a high-flow 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter utilizing patented Twist-Lock technology. This design eliminates the need for traditional hose clamps at the filter-to-housing junction, ensuring a secure seal and a simplified installation process. The system also incorporates patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to maintain safe air-fuel ratios on the stock calibration while delivering dyno-proven gains of up to 13 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque.
