The Injen Hydroshield 1118BLK is a performance-engineered pre-filter designed to shield your intake system from water and debris. Constructed from a proprietary media and treated with a hydrophobic water-repellent, this shield diverts moisture and contaminants before they reach your primary filter. It is designed specifically for use on closed-top air filters and serves as a direct fit for the Injen X-1093, while also fitting various universal applications with matching dimensions.
This pre-filter wrap is both UV and puncture-resistant, featuring unique elasticity that allows the media to return to its original shape after servicing. By stopping contaminants as small as .005", the Hydroshield prevents filter clogging, helping to maintain peak airflow and horsepower while significantly extending the service intervals of your primary SuperNano-Web or oiled cotton gauze filter.
