During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake tract, carrying oil vapors that accumulate in the intake manifold runners and intake tube. This buildup can dilute fuel octane levels and cause carbon deposits. The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 captures these vapors before they reach the intake, ensuring cleaner air for the combustion cycle.

Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine-mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process allows oil droplets to coalesce and fall into the 3oz reservoir. The tank features a knurled base for easy removal during service and an O-ring seal to maintain a leak-free system.
