Forced induction engines generate significant crankcase pressure, which carries oil vapors through the PCV system and into the intake tract. These vapors coat intake runners, gunk up valves, and dilute fuel octane levels. The J&L 3.0 intercepts these vapors, ensuring only clean air reaches your intake manifold.
Engineered for efficiency, this separator uses a multistage filtration system. Oil vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This dual-layer approach forces oil droplets to coalesce and drop into the 3oz reservoir. The tank features a knurled base for easy tool-free removal during maintenance and an O-ring seal to prevent vacuum leaks.
