Fits 2011-2017 Ford Mustang GT equipped with Roush or VMP superchargers. This J&L Oil Separator Co. 3.0 kit is designed for the driver side to intercept oil vapors before they reach your intake tract.
During the combustion process, crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake, carrying oil vapors that coat intake runners, dilute fuel octane, and carbonize on valves. This issue is amplified in forced induction applications like the supercharged 5.0L Coyote engine. The J&L 3.0 separator solves this with a multi-stage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen, then through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process causes oil droplets to coalesce and drop into the reservoir, allowing only clean air to continue to the intake.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, the tank features a 3oz capacity and a knurled base for easy removal during service. The unit is finished in a durable black anodize and includes an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system.
