During normal operation, crankcase pressure is vented back into the intake track, carrying oil vapors that coat intake runners and can even dilute your fuel's octane level. This is particularly critical on forced induction applications where increased crankcase pressures accelerate oil carryover. The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator intercepts these vapors, ensuring only clean air reaches your intake manifold.

Machined from solid billet aluminum with a black anodized finish, this separator features a multistage filtration system. Vapors first pass through a fine mesh stainless steel screen before entering a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. This process causes oil droplets to coalesce and fall into the 3oz reservoir. The tank features a knurled base for tool-free removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system. Installation is straightforward thanks to factory-style quick-connect PCV fittings.
