JBA 409 Series stainless steel after-cat down-pipes (mid-pipes) are engineered to increase exhaust flow and provide a more aggressive sound profile for the S550 Mustang platform. Each pipe is constructed from mandrel-bent 409SS tubing to maintain constant diameter through bends, reducing backpressure compared to restrictive factory piping. The exterior is hand-polished to a mirror finish, offering a custom look beneath the vehicle.
This mid-pipe features heavy-duty flanges and factory-style hangers for a secure installation that aligns with OEM mounting points. Please note that installation of this part requires modification to the factory down-pipe. It is intended for closed-course competition use and is not legal for street use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California or states adopting California emissions regulations.
