JBA Cat4Ward shorty headers are a direct-replacement performance upgrade for the 7.4L Big Block Chevrolet engine. These headers are significantly less restrictive than stock cast-iron manifolds, facilitating better exhaust scavenging to increase power and efficiency. Designed specifically for vehicles without an A.I.R. (Air Injection Reactor) system, they feature 1-3/4" mandrel-bent stainless steel primary tubes and JBA’s proprietary Firecone merged collector for maximum torque gains. The silver ceramic coating provides a durable finish that resists corrosion while effectively reducing under-hood temperatures.
