This JE Pistons kit is engineered specifically for the Subaru EJ257 engine, featuring a 99.75mm bore and 8.5:1 compression ratio. Forged from high-tensile 2618 aluminum, these pistons utilize the proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This architecture reduces friction and power loss through a narrowed skirt width while shedding weight via a shorter wrist pin, providing a robust solution for high-boost performance applications. Each piston includes an accumulator groove to reduce pressure from combustion gases, preventing ring flutter and maintaining a consistent seal.
