JE Pistons Ultra Series forged pistons are engineered for high-output Subaru EJ25 builds where extreme cylinder pressures are the norm. These pistons utilize JE’s proprietary Aligned Grain Flow technology, a specialized forging process that maximizes tensile strength to withstand the stresses of high-boost environments. Each piston comes standard with a ceramic-based thermal barrier crown coating to reflect heat into the combustion chamber and a friction-reducing skirt coating to minimize wear and cold-start noise.
