Designed for the extreme cylinder pressures of high-boost racing applications, JE Pistons Ultra Series forged pistons provide the durability required for high-horsepower Subaru EJ25 builds. These pistons utilize proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging technology to maximize tensile strength, ensuring the rotating assembly can withstand the stresses of aggressive power-adders.
Each piston is engineered with a ceramic-based thermal barrier crown coating to reflect heat and improve exhaust gas scavenging, along with a specialized skirt coating to reduce friction and cylinder wall wear. Lateral gas ports are included to maintain a positive ring seal under high boost and high RPM conditions. This kit includes premium thick-wall wrist pins manufactured by Trend Performance for maximum reliability.
