Fits 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) and 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche (MJ) models. This JKS Manufacturing rear upper shock crossmember (JKSOGS999) allows for the installation of long-travel shock absorbers by providing four adjustable mounting positions per side. This heavy-duty design enables you to fine-tune shock angles for a cantilever effect, increasing suspension travel and improving ride quality through mechanical advantage.
- Four shock mounting positions per side for optimized damping rates and travel.
- Heavy-duty shock mounting studs eliminate the restrictive factory bar pin design for better bushing life and reduced noise.
- Universal installation options: can be bolted into place or welded for maximum rigidity.
- Durable powder-coated finish for long-term corrosion resistance.
- Includes all necessary upper shock mounting hardware.
Note: Installation requires modifications to the exhaust system. This mount requires new shock absorbers unless installed in conjunction with the JKS Rear Axle Shock Mount [PN: OGS922].
