The K&N 57-1516 FIPK Performance Air Intake System replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to significantly reduce airflow restriction. This system features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube designed to increase the volume of air reaching your engine, improving throttle response and power output. To manage intake temperatures, a custom heat shield is included to help isolate the filter from high engine bay heat.
This kit comes equipped with an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between cleaning under normal highway driving conditions. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
