The K&N 57-2549 Performance Intake Kit is engineered to eliminate airflow restriction and significantly increase horsepower and torque for your supercharged Ford F-150. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube. This aerodynamic design increases the volume of air reaching your engine while maintaining cooler intake temperatures.
At the heart of this kit is an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter. Featuring K&N's signature oiled cotton media, this filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under standard highway conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from engine bay heat, ensuring a denser air charge. The entire system is designed for a straightforward bolt-on installation, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using basic hand tools.
