The K&N 57-1003 Performance Intake Kit replaces the restrictive factory air box and air path to provide a significant increase in airflow volume to your engine. This system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube designed to reduce air turbulence and maintain consistent intake velocity. It is equipped with a custom-engineered heat shield to isolate the intake air from engine bay heat, ensuring cooler, denser air reaches the combustion chamber.
The included washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter utilizes oiled cotton media in an oversized conical design, allowing for service intervals up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. This complete bolt-on system is designed for straightforward installation using factory mounting points, typically requiring less than 90 minutes of work.
