Fits 2002-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer models (including ES, Evolution, LS, OZ Rally, Ralliart, and SE).
The K&N 69-6540TB Typhoon air intake system is a performance-oriented induction kit designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This short ram system utilizes a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube to smooth and straighten airflow, allowing your engine to inhale a larger volume of air for improved throttle response and acceleration throughout the RPM range.
The intake tube features a durable blue powder-coat finish and is engineered to accommodate the factory mass air sensor. It includes a replacement silicone crankcase vent hose and an oversized cone-shaped high-flow air filter with a black rubber top. This reusable filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points.
