The K&N 57-1529 (57 Series FIPK) air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This kit features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube, designed to increase airflow volume and velocity to the throttle body. By streamlining the air path and shielding the intake from high engine bay temperatures with a custom heat shield, this system provides a consistent gain in horsepower and torque.

Included is an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. This washable and reusable filter is designed for long service intervals, providing up to 100,000 miles of filtration before cleaning is required under typical highway driving conditions. The bolt-on design allows for a straightforward installation that can typically be completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
