The K&N 57-3048 Performance Air Intake Kit is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve engine breatheability. This system utilizes a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube to increase the volume of airflow to your engine, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The kit features a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, designed for an oversized conical shape that allows for up to 100,000 miles of use between services under normal highway driving conditions.
To maintain lower intake air temperatures, the system includes a custom heat shield that isolates the filter from the high heat of the engine bay. This bolt-on upgrade is designed for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
