The K&N 69-0021TS Typhoon intake system replaces your Acura's restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum induction tube. Engineered to reduce airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening the intake path, this system allows your engine to inhale a larger volume of denser, oxygen-rich air. This improvement in induction efficiency results in more usable power and better throttle response throughout the RPM range.
Built for durability and protection, the silver-finish intake includes an oversized, black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter. To safeguard performance in damp conditions, the kit includes a water-repellent DryCharger filter wrap. This system is designed for a straightforward installation, typically taking 90 minutes or less using common hand tools.
- Mandrel-Bent Aluminum: Maintains constant diameter through bends for maximum airflow velocity.
- DryCharger Included: Water-repellent wrap protects the filter media from moisture and splashes.
- High-Flow Filtration: Washable filter provides excellent engine protection and only needs cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway conditions.
