The K&N 69-2004TTK Typhoon air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and engine performance. This short ram system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to provide a low-restriction path for oxygen-rich air to reach the engine. It includes K&N's signature High-Flow Air Filter, featuring oiled cotton media that is both washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
This system comes equipped with a custom heat shield to help isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler air charge. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under 90 minutes using basic hand tools.
