The K&N 69-8702TP Typhoon Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and improve airflow to your engine by replacing the factory air box and intake tubing. This performance-oriented system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to provide a smooth, direct path for air, resulting in improved throttle response and a more aggressive engine sound under acceleration.
This kit includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton media, providing high airflow while maintaining engine protection. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of lasting up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. To further enhance performance, a custom heat shield is included to help protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures.
