Fits 2007-2009 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and Shelby GT500KR (V8-5.4L).
The K&N 57-2571 Performance Intake Kit is engineered to reduce intake restriction by replacing the factory air filter and the entire intake path. This system utilizes a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube to increase the volume of airflow to your engine for improved throttle response and power. The kit features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter with washable, oiled cotton filter media, which allows for up to 100,000 miles between service intervals under normal highway driving conditions.
To maintain a cooler air charge, the system includes a custom heat shield designed to protect the intake from high engine bay temperatures. This kit is a direct bolt-on replacement that can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
