The K&N 57-1553 Performance Intake Kit is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, providing a more direct path for airflow into your engine. This system utilizes a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube to increase the volume of air delivered to the cylinders. To maintain lower intake temperatures, the kit includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the filter from high engine bay heat, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge.
- Washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media for superior filtration
- Oversized conical design allows for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions
- Rotationally-molded HDPE intake tube increases airflow and durability
- Complete bolt-on system typically installs in 90 minutes or less using factory mounting points
