The K&N Typhoon Performance Intake System is designed to eliminate airflow restriction and turbulence in your factory induction system. By replacing the restrictive OEM air box and intake path with a silver powder-coated, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this short ram system provides a smoother, more direct path for oxygen to reach your engine. The result is a guaranteed increase in horsepower and improved throttle response across the RPM range.

This system features an oversized conical High-Flow Air Filter made from K&N’s signature oiled cotton media. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between services under normal driving conditions. To help maintain lower intake air temperatures, a custom-designed heat shield is included to isolate the filter from engine bay heat. The entire kit is engineered for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
