The K&N 69-8613TS Typhoon performance intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, this system allows your engine to breathe more efficiently, resulting in improved throttle response and engine sound. The silver powder-coated intake tube is paired with an oversized conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions.
This kit includes a vehicle-specific heat shield to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in 90 minutes or less using factory mounting points.
