The K&N Typhoon Performance Air Intake System (69-1017TTK) is designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This short ram system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that guides high volumes of oxygen-rich air directly into the engine for improved throttle response and performance.
Equipped with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter, this system utilizes oiled cotton media to provide exceptional filtration and engine protection. The oversized conical filter design is engineered to go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler charge.
