The K&N Typhoon Series Cold Air Intake system (69-6028TTK) is designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This performance system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube engineered to streamline airflow into the engine and a custom heat shield to help protect intake air from high engine bay temperatures.
Each system includes an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. This washable, reusable filter provides excellent filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. The complete system is designed for a straightforward bolt-on installation, typically completed in less than 90 minutes.
