The K&N Typhoon 69-3528TS air intake system is designed to improve airflow and engine performance by replacing the restrictive factory air box and intake tubing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a silver finish, engineered to provide a smooth, aerodynamic path for air to reach your engine. It includes an oversized conical High-Flow Air Filter made from washable, reusable oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions.
To maintain lower intake air temperatures, the kit includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the filter from engine bay heat. Installation is straightforward, typically completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools and factory mounting points.
