Fits 2010-2013 Kia Forte and Forte Koup models equipped with the 2.0L engine.
The K&N 69-5307TTK Typhoon air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box and intake tubing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. This design minimizes air turbulence and provides a smoother path for oxygen to reach the engine. The system includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media that is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions.
To maintain lower intake temperatures, this kit features a custom heat shield designed to isolate the filter from the high heat of the engine bay. The entire system is a direct bolt-on upgrade that utilizes factory mounting points for a straightforward installation process.
