The K&N Typhoon Performance Intake system (69-8617TTK) is engineered to reduce intake restriction by replacing the factory air box and intake tubing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to provide a smooth, aerodynamic path for airflow, delivering a noticeable improvement in engine response and sound.
This intake is equipped with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. This washable and reusable filter allows for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring cooler air reaches the engine for more efficient combustion.
