The K&N 69 Series Typhoon intake system is engineered to reduce air intake restriction and turbulence, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. This short ram system replaces the factory air box and intake tract with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube, finished in a mirror-like polished coating for long-lasting durability and a clean engine bay appearance.
This system utilizes a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized conical design allows for extended service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The included custom heat shield helps isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge reaching the engine.
