The K&N AirCharger 63-2578 performance intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and engine efficiency. This system features an enclosed air box design that helps shield the intake from high under-hood temperatures, while the air box lid provides quick, tool-free access to the filter. To streamline airflow, the kit utilizes a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube designed to increase the volume of air reaching the engine.
Equipped with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter, this system uses washable, reusable oiled cotton media. Engineered for longevity, the filter can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. The entire system is a direct bolt-on replacement and can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes with standard hand tools.
