The K&N 69-Series Typhoon Performance Intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing to significantly improve airflow. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to deliver a smooth, low-restriction path for incoming air, resulting in increased horsepower and torque across the RPM range. By utilizing a custom heat shield, the system isolates the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler and denser intake charge.
- Premium Construction: Mandrel-bent aluminum tubing ensures consistent diameter through every bend to eliminate turbulence.
- High-Flow Filtration: Includes an oversized, washable conical air filter with oiled cotton media for superior filtration and high airflow capacity.
- Long Service Life: The reusable filter is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
- Direct Fit: Engineered for a straightforward installation that typically takes 90 minutes or less using factory mounting points.
