By replacing the restrictive factory air box with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this system delivers a higher volume of oxygen-rich air directly to your engine. The included oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter is constructed from K&N's signature oiled cotton media, allowing for up to 100,000 miles of service between cleanings under normal driving conditions.

To maintain lower intake temperatures, this system features a custom-designed heat shield that helps isolate the filter from the radiant heat of the engine bay. The entire kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement and can typically be installed in 90 minutes or less using basic hand tools.
