The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Performance Intake is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, this system allows your engine to breathe more efficiently, improving throttle response and engine sound. The 69-4522TS kit features an oversized conical High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media that is washable and reusable, capable of lasting up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
Built for durability and performance, this system includes a custom heat shield to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge. The entire kit is designed for a straightforward installation that can typically be completed in less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
