Fits 2012-2014 Mini Cooper Base, S, JCW, Clubman, Coupe, and Roadster models (1.6L).
The K&N 69 Series Typhoon performance intake system is designed to reduce intake restriction by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This kit features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that provides a smooth, high-volume path for airflow into the engine. It includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from washable, reusable oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway conditions.
To maintain lower intake air temperatures, the system includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the filter from high engine bay heat. This bolt-on upgrade typically installs in under 90 minutes using factory mounting points and is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
