The K&N 69-Series Typhoon cold air intake system is engineered to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to deliver a high volume of oxygen-rich air directly into the engine for improved combustion. It includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media that provides exceptional filtration and a service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
To maintain lower intake temperatures, a custom heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from the high heat of the engine bay. The entire system is designed for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using standard tools.
