The K&N Typhoon Series performance intake system (69-3517TS) is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system is engineered to significantly reduce intake restriction, allowing your engine to breathe more efficiently for increased horsepower and torque. It features an oversized conical High-Flow Air Filter made from washable, oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
This kit includes a custom heat shield to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser oxygen charge. The entire system is designed for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using basic hand tools.
