The K&N 57-2585 FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in your Ford Fusion. By utilizing a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube, this system streamlines and increases the volume of airflow to your engine for improved throttle response and torque. The oversized conical air filter is constructed from oiled cotton media, providing high airflow while maintaining engine protection. This washable, reusable filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions.
Designed for a straightforward installation, the kit includes a custom heat shield to isolate the intake from engine bay heat. The entire system typically installs in less than 90 minutes using basic hand tools and factory mounting points.
