Fits 2013-2017 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Turbo R-Spec, and Rally Edition (1.6L).
The K&N 69-5312TS Typhoon Performance Intake system is engineered to reduce intake restriction by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This system utilizes a silver mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to provide a smooth, high-volume path for airflow directly into the engine's turbocharger. The kit includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge.
This performance intake comes equipped with an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter. The filter features oiled cotton media that provides excellent filtration while allowing for extended service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The entire system is designed for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools and factory mounting points.
