The K&N NextGen cold air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air path with a high-efficiency induction system. It features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally molded tube designed to increase airflow volume by 21.6%. This precision-engineered upgrade provides dyno-tested increases of up to 25.25 horsepower and 30.35 lb-ft of torque with no ECU tuning required.
This system utilizes a custom-designed NextGen air box to protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser oxygen charge. The kit includes a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter with oiled cotton media, designed to operate for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under highway conditions. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting points and typically taking less than 60 minutes.
