The K&N 63-1586 performance air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air path with a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube. This aerodynamic design increases the volume of airflow to your engine, supporting improved horsepower and torque response. The system is equipped with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter utilizing oiled cotton media, providing high-capacity filtration and a service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
This kit includes a custom-fit heat shield to help isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser oxygen charge. Designed for a straightforward installation, the entire system typically bolts on in less than 60 minutes using standard hand tools.
