The K&N 63-Series AirCharger Performance Intake Kit (MPN 63-2590) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing on your S550 Mustang. By utilizing a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube, this system increases the volume of airflow to your engine while smoothing the path to the throttle body. The included custom heat shield helps isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser oxygen charge for combustion.
This system features K&N’s signature washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter. The oversized conical design utilizes oiled cotton filter media, providing high airflow and excellent filtration for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. The kit is designed for a straightforward installation that typically takes less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
